OFFICE BUSINESS CENTER BENEFITS

The typical Office Business Center (also frequently known as an "Executive Suite" in the U.S or "Serviced Office" in Canada or the U.K.) provides a professionally structured, total business and support services environment for a company or individual entrepreneur.  Office Business Centers normally combine a package of office accommodations, amenities and services for one reasonable monthly fee.  Office Center clients share a welcoming reception area, professionally appointed conference rooms, kitchen, and other common areas.  An array of leading edge business support services are also typically available to clients on an as needed basis.

Most centers can accommodate individuals operating their own businesses, as well as groups of 10 to 12 individuals within their center framework.  Depending on the individual office center, larger groups of up to 25 or even 50 can also be accommodated.  Many more centers are being identified as a valuable resource for "business continuity" programs, or disaster recovery.

Companies choose an office business center for a variety of reasons which include:

  1. The elimination of most up-front capital expenditures (please see our cost comparison page),
  2. By sharing common areas, equipment, and staff, most small businesses lower their total monthly operating expenses (please see our cost comparison page),
  3. Agreements that are easy to review and understand, limiting the need to enlist attorneys and/or accountants for your lease requirements,
  4. An ideal environment for smaller space requirements,
  5. The availability of office space on an immediate basis, as well as on flexible terms from a few weeks to a year or more - With no long term lease, no full-time staffing costs, and no expensive office equipment to lease or buy, companies are free to use office business center office space when they need and as they need it,
  6. The availability of receptionists, administrative assistants and other "virtual staff" to provide assistance without the overhead of a full-time employee,
  7. Cutting-edge IT and telecoms technology, including AV equipment, high-speed internet access, photocopiers and printers,
  8. Class A working environment with rent, CAM charges, service fees, insurance and utilities included.

Whether for an entrepreneur starting a new business, or a branch manager of a Fortune 500 company, the cost benefits and flexibility that an OBC provides have made it the obvious choice for workplace solutions.
